Cheap Air Tickets Are Possible By Earning More JP Miles From Jet Airways

Jet Airways is primarily a full freight carrier in India, which commenced its airline business in 1993, however, to go with the trend of flying low cost carriers it promoted two subsidiaries, JetLite and JetKonnect offering cheap air tickets to passengers.

Low cost carriers strive to operate with economically stringent operational procedures, such as conserving fuel usage by carefully aligning routes, flying with less loads etc. Besides withdrawing the Air travel luxuries of inflight free catering and other frills. As for passengers, Cheap air tickets are obtainable from Jet Airways, by availing their JP Miles points which are available with every travel with them under their Jet Privilege program or through trades with their partnering traders.
Sahara Airlines Company was a full freight carrier since 1991 and later in 2000 it became Air Sahara when the company rebranded it. However, Jet Airways acquired Air Sahara in 2007 to make it JetLite flying with cheap air tickets. JetKonnect was brought in by Jet Airways, as another low cost carrier in 2009, when there was already a Low cost carrier of the company, mainly because of process delays that were anticipated in transferring some of Jet Airways assets to JetLite. However, JetLite got absorbed by JetKonnect in 2012. Now JetKonnect flies schedules with cheap air tickets while Jet Airways functions as a full freight carrier, domestic and international.
